Adam Freeland initially established himself as a DJ in the early nineties' London club scene. His two "Coastal Breaks" compilation albums brought him much media recognition, won him many fans, and subsequently he has been largely instrumental in kick-starting the break beat movement in many territories around the world.
He joined legendary Belgian label R & S Records as A & R, an experience that inspired him to launch his own imprint, Marine Parade Records.
Adam has since released two further compilations "On Tour" and "Tectonics", recorded with Beber as Tsunami One, and more recently focused his attention on his live band Freeland, recording their debut artist album "Now & Them". "We Want Your Soul", the first single from the album has been the first track from the breaks scene to cross over as a hit record.
As well as still touring extensively as a DJ and with his band, he has a monthly residency at Fabric in London.
