Hello,

This is the first issue of SubMarine, the newsletter for the Marine Parade community.

Marine Parade news

Marine Parade has always been about finding great music and getting it to the people that love it around the world. We're a small independent record label based out of Brighton, England, and we like to think we stand for excellence in everything we release or recommend. The label was founded by DJ Adam Freeland.

So far we've released 25 stellar 12" singles, a stunning artist album Soul Trader by ils, 2 unforgettable Adam Freeland DJ compilations (Tectonics and On Tour) as well as the soon-to-be-cult artist album Now and Them by the live band Freeland. Over the next few months we've got more music than ever - with more singles from the Freeland album, and new albums from Evil 9 (spring release) and ils (autumn release).

Unless you've been in a coma or on a long walk in the himalayas you'll know about the success of the first Freeland single We Want Your Soul that came out in September 03. Well, the hugely anticipated follow up single is finally out on the market! 'Supernatural Thing' was released this Monday in all good record shops. Buy it please, it's really good!

On Tour

A big thank you to all of you that came to see Freeland live at Cargo, London in Jan - you guys rocked! And those that caught us in '03 on our UK Tour.

We're on tour now in Australia for the Good Vibrations Tour - go to www.marineparade.net or www.goodvibrations.com.au for details.

Plus Freeland are doing the 'Peace-Not-War' (peace-not-war.org) gig on the 14th February at the Hackney Ocean, London.

Submarine

After far too long Marine Parade is building and releasing a new website designed to enable people everywhere access to our music, each other and our points of view. We'll let you know when it's ready, and we hope you like it.

In fact, mail us if there's anything you wanna know about what we're up to info@marineparade.net.
